Movie Review - Music and Lyrics
Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant are not given room to explore their acting abilities. At times I mistook Hugh Grant for his character if Four Weddings and a Funeral the mannerisms were so similar. However, movies with big name, mediocre talent, are not meant to intellectually stimulate us, but entertain. This was entertaining. I think a group of friends, particularly those that grew up listening to Duran Duran, Flock of Seagulls, Reo Speedwagon (i.e., people like me) could pay full price for this movie, and then afterwards go out and reminisce about high school. So, it's a conversation starter. Not so bad for a movie, eh?
