Book Review - Fluke: Or, I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings
This is the 5th book I've read of Christopher Moore's, and the first time I thought this author must drop acid a lot; or has read many sci-fi books. Many of his books have farfetched sortof human sortof living, possibly dead characters. This is no exception. I guess as long as an author removes the line between living and dead, then the story doesn't really have to end or rather death is just an inconvenience to a story which focuses a lot on dialogue to keep moving. It was a good fast read, and definitely worth some gafaws. My favorite character was Kona the NJ kid turned fake-Hawaian. It would be a good plane book.
